Laura Savage, M.Ed.
Laura Savage, M.Ed. earned her undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University, and her graduate degree in Education (Counseling and Psychology) from Troy University. She is a Psychometric Technician at the Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinic in Hope Mills. She has a strong military background as the spouse of a retired service member. Laura has many years of experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities. She is also experienced in working with mental health disorders. She formerly was an Autism Specialist with the UNC TEACCH Autism Program for several years where she gained a strong background in diagnostic evaluations, treatment and consultation. Laura has previously worked in supported employment and supported living programs for individuals with disabilities, as well as directing a day program for adults with ASD. She has served as a social worker in a nursing home. She also worked with the EFMP program on Ft. Bragg. More recently, Laura was a Psychometric Technician and Psychiatric Intake Specialist with Coastal Carolina Neuropsychiatric Center where she gained experience with the Telemedicine Program.
