Alida Mason is a board certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker awarded from the North Carolina Social Work Board. She is one of the founders of The Haymount Institute for Psychological Services. She has 30+ years of experience in cognitive behavioral interventions for a multitude of psychological and social environment health conditions. Her specialties include women’s issues, couples therapy, terminal illness coping / bereavement for adults and children, post traumatic stress interventions for military families /Department of Defense (DoD) personnel, and personal growth strategies for women. Training includes family constellation work, clinical hypnosis, bipolar disorder management, and marital conflict disintegration intervention. Alida has devoted a great number of hours to community involvement through public speaking engagements involving women’s diversity issues, family advocacy and weight loss seminars.
