Alida Mason was a board certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker awarded from the North Carolina Social Work Board. She is one of the founders of the Haymount Institute for Psychological Services. She has 40+ years of experience in cognitive behavioral interventions for a multitude of psychological and social environment health conditions. Her specialties include women’s issues, couples therapy, terminal illness coping / bereavement for adults and children, post traumatic stress interventions for military families /Department of Defense (DoD) personnel, and personal growth strategies for women. Training includes family constellation work, clinical hypnosis, bipolar disorder management, and marital conflict disintegration intervention. Alida has devoted a great number of hours to community involvement through public speaking engagements involving women’s diversity issues, family advocacy and weight loss seminars. She is now enjoying her much deserved retirement spending time with family and traveling.
