Laurel Flom is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate, and National Certified Counselor. She holds a Master of Arts in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Graduate Certificate in Addictions Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Laurel also earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from UNC Greensboro. Her approach to care is grounded in compassion, clinical insight, and advocacy.Laurel works with individuals experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, ADHD, autism, behavioral addictions, substance use challenges, and grief. She is trained in EMDR and passionate about serving the LGBTQIA+ community. Clients describe her as thoughtful, persistent, and deeply committed to supporting healing in a safe and affirming environment.  "The Serenity Prayer" guides her work and philosophy of care.She is also a member of the American Counseling Association and believes in meeting people where they are.
