Martha Quattlebaum is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Master of Social Work (MSW) Degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She completed her practicum at the Fayetteville V.A. Medical Center where she gained experience providing therapeutic services to veterans in the Substance Abuse Treatment Program. She was able to help individuals to gain the tools to effectively treat their substance use disorders along with depression, anxiety, anger management, stress and relational conflict through individual and group psychotherapy.In addition, Martha has experience working with children and adolescents with mental health, behavioral, and learning disabilities in the Public Schools of North Carolina. She has helped children, adolescents, and families to gain the necessary tools to effectively deal with challenges through developing a variety of skills including, but not limited to communication, coping, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and conflict resolution skills.Martha utilizes a variety of evidence-based approaches to therapy including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based Therapy, and Seeking Safety modalities. Martha works with children ages 5 +, teens, and adults with mental health and substance use disorders to empower them to live their best lives. She believes that with the proper tools every individual has the ability to become the best version of themselves, and to reach their maximum potential in life.
