Rachel is a Nationally Certified Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Rachel earned their baccalaureate degree in Psychology from Erskine College and their Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

Rachel believes that trust, dedication and empathy are the cornerstones of a therapeutic relationship. Through goal setting, client empowerment and reflective work, a client will be able to overcome the challenges that life presents to them. They enjoy working with children, teens, and adolescents who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, mood disorders, family dynamics, relationship concerns, and school/work stressors.

Rachel believes that treatment can be approached in many ways, but focuses on evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered therapy, and mindfulness, all dependent on the client’s needs.

When not at work, Rachel enjoys reading, playing video games and spending time with friends and family.
