Elizabeth (Beth) Williams is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor for the State of North Carolina. She has 18 years of counseling experience with children and adults. Her specialties include Trauma Focused CBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Solution Focused therapy with teens and adults. She uses an Integrative Approach tailoring the style of therapy to each person as an individual. She enjoys working with people – men and women – who struggle with Depression, Anxiety, Low-Self-Image, PTSD, and Weight Loss Goals. She is comfortable providing Couples Therapy. She has about 10 years experience of working with teens who have engaged in substance use, struggle self-esteem issues, suicidal ideation, and most identity issues.
Most recently she has become a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and is able to help with weight loss goals. She believes in helping her clients recognize the strengths they have and seeks to help them build on those strengths. She states that therapy is a collaborative work between the therapist and the client to where the client feels empowered to take control over their life. She provides Faith-Based Counseling upon client's request. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and enjoys being involved in her community through serving others in a local church.
