Alexis Rogers is a licensed clinical Social Worker associate. She received her bachelors of Social Work degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and a Masters of Social Work degree from The university of North Carolina at Pembroke. Alexis has 4 years experience in human services including extensive case management, intensive in home services, and outpatient therapy within the children and adolescent population. Alexis specializes in individual therapy with children and adolescents ages 5-18. Alexis believes one of the most important aspects of therapy is meeting clients where they are, and knowing client’s are the experts of their lives and experiences. She is a strong believer in empowerment, positive affirmations, and the strength based perspective. She believes it is vital to build healthy therapeutic rapport with each client to provide a stable, strong therapeutic relationship. She strives to give this to each client by providing a safe, and comfortable space in her office. Alexis has experience with providing a therapeutic safe space for children and adolescents to address their mental health needs including depression, anxiety, ADHD, ODD, and other psychological needs. Alexis is specialized in utilizing multiple treatment modalities such as psychodynamic therapy, cognitive- behavioral therapy, and person centered therapy. Alexis is a wife and a mother of two daughters and enjoys spending her free time spending time with her family, making memories with her daughters, gardening, cooking, and self development.
